A woman with medium-length brown hair wearing clear glasses and a pearl necklace.

I am a licensed psychotherapist who integrates clinical expertise with compassion to support meaningful, lasting change. With training in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions, I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and life transitions.

I take a collaborative and individualized approach as I believe each human experience is unique.

I view therapy as both a science and a human relationship, where data-informed strategies are paired with empathy and respect.

You can expect a thoughtful, structured process within a safe and nonjudgmental space, personally designed to suit your need for insight, resilience, and personal growth.

Benefits of Psychotherapy

Research consistently demonstrates that psychotherapy is effective in reducing symptoms of anxiety,

  • Symptom Reduction – Evidence-based interventions can significantly decrease anxiety, depressive symptoms, and emotional distress.
  • Improved Emotional Regulation – Learn skills grounded in cognitive and behavioral science to manage intense emotions more effectively.
  • Enhanced Self-Awareness – Identify patterns in thinking and behavior that influence relationships and decision-making.
  • Stronger Relationships – Develop healthier communication skills and attachment patterns.
  • Resilience & Coping – Build adaptive strategies to navigate life transitions, loss, and uncertainty.
  • Long-Term Growth – Foster insight and psychological flexibility that support sustained well-being.

Moving the nervous system from a chronic state of hyperarousal (anxiety, hypervigilance) or shutdown (numbness, dissociation), therapy first focuses on:

  • Processing Traumatic Memories
  • Evidence-based approaches such as:
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma-focused psychodynamic therapy
  • Somatic therapies

Reconnecting with the Body

Because trauma is stored physiologically, therapy may include body-based awareness, breathwork, and mindfulness to help restore a sense of embodiment and internal safety.

  • Rebuilding Identity and Meaning
  • Reclaiming personal strengths
  • Repairing attachment wounds
  • Rebuilding trust in self and others
  • Integrating the experience into a broader life narrative

Movement and Nervous System Regulation

A group of friends lying in a circle on grass, shouting joyfully.

  • Adolescence can feel confusing and overwhelming, and no one should have to navigate it alone.
  • My aim is to provide a safe, understanding space where pre-teens can grow with clarity, confidence, and support.

Why Movement Matters in Therapy?

When someone experiences stress or trauma, the body may remain in patterns of:

  • Fight (tension, agitation)
  • Flight (restlessness, anxiety)
  • Freeze (numbness, shutdown)

Movement can help complete these interrupted survival responses and bring the nervous system back into regulation.

Cellular Healing

  • Your cells store memories and can communicate with each other. When dis-ease sets in, it indicates that internal communication is off balance.
  • Your cells hold the blueprint of your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.
  • Effective management can help address suppressed rage, trauma, inflammatory issues and life stress.

Art Therapy

Cellular Healing

Abstract swirling colors forming a human profile in a cosmic spiral.

  • Art therapy serves as a valuable coping tool for anxiety and stress, allowing people to explore their subconscious mind and enhance self-esteem.
  • This treatment is beneficial for those looking to heal from suppressed pain and trauma, and it is also effective for individuals seeking a deeper connection with themselves.
  • Many clinical psychologists and psychotherapists recognize the power of art therapy and additionally, there is an increasing amount of scientific evidence that demonstrates how art enhances human brain function, making it a vital resource.

Breathwork

Conscious Breathing

Conscious breathing helps calm the nervous system by slowing and deepening the breath. This simple practice reduces stress, improves focus, and supports emotional regulation, making it a reliable tool for managing tension in daily life.

In therapy, integrating conscious breathing provides clients with an immediate, accessible tool for grounding and self-regulation. It enhances the effectiveness of therapeutic work by helping stabilize the body’s stress response, making it easier to process emotions, increase insight, and engage more fully in the therapeutic process.

Therapy is for Everyone

Therapy is for everyone because we all carry stories, challenges, and dreams that deserve space to be heard. It isn’t only for moments of crisis but it’s a place to grow, heal, and reconnect with who you are.

Evidence-based therapeutic approaches can enhance coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and promote overall mental well-being.
